St. Helena
Known for boutique shopping, delicious eateries and numerous wineries, this charming, upscale town is also home to Greystone, the famous cooking school of the Culinary Institute of America. St. Helena’s level land and charming, older homes make neighborhood strolls a delight. One has easy access to downtown without the need for a car.
Back in the mid-1800’s a sulfur spring was discovered, and affluent San Franciscans traveled here to soak at California’s oldest resort. Back then, St.Helena had little else but a schoolhouse and a wee church. These days the affluent still flock to this town, and the amenities are plentiful. This town offers sophisticated country living at its best!
